Mental Health Awareness Week

Wednesday 6th May | Comments are off for this post

Mental Health Awareness Week is the UK’s national week to raise awareness of mental health and mental health problems and inspire action to promote the message of good mental health for all.

The theme for 2020 is ‘kindness’.

We are all currently living in very strange times and this can have an impact on our mental health and the mental health of our loved ones.

We hope you find some of these links helpful. If you would like to speak to someone about how you are feeling, there are lots of useful contacts on the Mindwell website or you can also call your GP direct or the Health Visiting Team on 0113 843 5683. Children’s Centre staff are also available to speak to on 0113 217 0134.

If you need to speak to someone urgently about your mental health you call 111, or if emergency care is needed 999.
